The new Peugeot 308 SW 1,2L PureTech 130 S&Si introduces a new member of the PureTech three-cylinder petrol engine family: a petrol-fuelled turbo engine with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed Efficient Automatic Transmission (EAT6)i. Compact and modular, eco-friendly and high performance, this engine is packed with efficient features and cutting-edge technology. Equipped with high-pressure direct fuel injection (200 bars), a new generation high-yield turbo (240 000 tr/mn), it offers a unique level of driving pleasure even at low speed. With a maximum torque of 230 Nm at 1,750 tr/mn, it even offers the market's best low speed/high power balance. And 95% of the torque remains available between 1,500 and 3,500 tr/mn, optimizing its performance under all circumstances.

Its compact size, reduced weight, and innovative low friction materials provide a remarkable balance between performances and economy, without having to compromise on durability or reliability. For equal power and driving pleasure, this technological breakthrough allows for a 21% reduction of both fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.




BlueHDi is the name of the brand's new Euro 6 Diesel engines. This technology drastically reduces Nox emissions (by more than 90%), curbs CO2 emissions, boosts fuel efficiency and virtually eliminates particulates (99.9%). Right from the launch, the new Peugeot 308 SW is available with a 2.0 litre BlueHDi 150 engine and either a manual or automatic 6-speed transmission (EAT6), as well as the new 1.6 litre BlueHDi 100 version with 5-speed manual transmission and the 1.6 litre BlueHDi 120 engine with a 6-speed manual transmission.

Approved at 85g/Km CO2 emissions, the 1.6l BlueHDi 120 version provides optimum performance and a sleek, streamlined style. With 120 hp capabilities and a maximum torque of 300 Nm as of 1,750 tr/mn, this exptremely fuel efficient version is a real "heart of the range" choice with excellent handling.

The new 2.0l BlueHDi 150 drivetrain combines high performance with particularly low emissions. Offering a maximum torque of 370 Nm at 2000 tr/mn and maximum versatility, the new Peugeot 308 SW, equipped with this engine and a 6-speed manual transmission, posts CO2 emissions as low as 99 g/Km. This drivetrain can also be combined with a 6-speed Efficient Automatic Transmission (EAT6). This innovative new transmission features Quickshift technology that allows for faster gear shifts and guarantees a smoother, more enjoyable ride.
