VISIOPARK 180° REVERSE CAMERA

The VisioPark 180° Reverse Camera offers a 180° view for full situational awareness. The view divides the screen into three zones, offering a clear view of vehicles approaching from the side and can be deployed for all types of parking situations, whether perpendicular or parallel.

LANE DEPARTURE WARNING SYSTEM

The Lane Departure Warning system monitors continuous and discontinuous lines, and warns the driver if –without signalling– a longitudinal lane marking on the ground is accidentally crossed. It alerts you with a flashing indicator on the digital instrument panel and an audible signal in the cabin.

BLIND SPOT MONITORING

This system alerts the driver to the presence of another vehicle in his vehicle's blind spot, if this poses a potential hazard. A warning is given by an indicator light located in the rearview mirror on the side concerned, as soon as a vehicle (car, truck, bicycle) is detected.

ADVANCED GRIP CONTROL

To allow you to take on a variety of weather and terrains, the New Peugeot 5008 7-seater SUV  specified with Advanced Grip Control®, a system designed to optimise traction in low-grip conditions. It adapts to the terrain by acting on the front wheels, in doing so this saves the weight normally associated with a more conventional four wheel drive system.

Advanced Grip Control® offers the driver a choice of five driving modes, accessed via a rotary dial on the centre console.

In addition the system also incorporates  Hill Assist Descent Control (HADC), this optimises vehicle control on steep slopes. When descending a slope with a gradient of more than 5% and with vehicle speed below 30kph the system will work to reduce the risk of slipping. During a descent the system maintains speed and brake control, allowing the driver to concentrate on the vehicles path of travel during the manoeuvre.

A clever feature incorporated within the Hill Assist Descent Control system is our unique 'Clutch Mode' security function. Selecting this function for very steep slopes regulates the vehicle speed to 3kph, this allows the vehicle to creep down a steep slope in a completely controlled manner.
